Dr. Hafez Bahrami received his PhD in mechanical engineering, at the University of Connecticut where he conducted research on “numerical modeling of heat and mass transfer in multi-component, multi-phase fuel cells”, from 2008-2012. He, then, joined Heat Exchanger Design and Rating (EDR) team, at R&D department of Aspen Technology, at 2012. In Aspen Tech., he focused on rigorous modeling of shell&tube heat exchangers and coil wound heat exchangers for cryogenic applications. Dr. Bahrami has published 12 refereed journal articles and several conference papers. He is a member of American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
